Welcome to the Sail for the Cure pledge page! Thank you for your interest in supporting our efforts to cure breast cancer once and for all, and in having a great time while we do it. The Oregon Women's Sailing Association and Portland's sailing community have a long-standing history of giving to the Oregon and Southwest Washington affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. This is our tenth anniversary, and we have a plan to make this the best year ever. We are hopeful that our event participants and all of their generous friends and family will help us reach, or even surpass, our 2009 fund raising goal of $50,000.

In celebration of this amazing event's tenth anniversary, we have developed a simple, yet effective strategy to meet our goal. We are asking each participant to ask 10 friends to donate $10 (or more, should you feel so inclined) to Sail for the Cure. By donating $10 each, we can easily reach our fund raising objective together, and none of us has to spend a great deal of money to do it.

The following online submission form is easy to fill out and available for anyone interested in making a pledge to the event. For those who are attending Sail for the Cure, you also have an opportunity to make a pledge via the online registration process. Just click the Registration link above to begin. If you choose that option, you will only have to complete one transaction.
